The Jimi Hendrix Fuzz Face is a meticulously faithful reproduction of the 1969-70 Dallas Arbiter Fuzz Face model that Jimi used on classic albums such as Electric Ladyland. Jimi Hendrix was able to mold his guitar tones into incredible sonic textures and shapes, using only a few effects in addition to his cranked-up amp and guitar. In the process, he created an iconic sound that still makes jaws drop nearly 40 years later. When dedicated guitar effects became available in the 1960s, Hendrix was one of the very first artists to embrace them as sound-shaping tools, rather than gimmicky afterthoughts tacked on to a dry guitar tone.
