Meticulously hand-crafted in Portland, Oregon, this amplifier features Benson's own upgraded Vinny circuit with three defining features: a responsive tone control, tube-driven power scaling, and a Tall Bird influenced spring reverb. The single JJ 6V6 tube acts as a voltage regulator to unlock smooth, articulate saggy edge of breakup tones at modest volume levels. High quality components such as Mallory 150 capacitors, custom triad power and output transformers, and an all tube preamp and power amp signal path let the Vinny Reverb's signature sound speak for itself. A 10-inch Celestion Greenback speaker is mounted in the resonant Baltic birch cabinet and provides a great voice for this amplifier: punchy, expressive, and full of midrange bite.
