My first purchase at Stompbox.in, so was a bit concerned about how it will go but the purchase process and delivery of item was quite smooth. The item was well packed and I kept receiving notifications from Shiprocket, so I'll give 5 stars for this, however, there are a couple of suggestions to further improve the service.
1. I received an email from Stompbox with the subject "Delays in Dispatch". This email had nothing to do with my order shipment because it was relating to items shipped from overseas to India, but this got me concerned for a moment because I purchased an item that stated "24-48 hrs" shipping, which is for items locally available at Goa store and then this email suggested the item was shipped from overseas. I sent an email to Stompbox about this and got no response. So my suggestion to Stompbox is please don't send emails to customers that don't relate to their purchases, and please respond to customer questions because it doesn't reflect well on you regarding your customer service capability. 1 star cut for this.
2. As I checked updates on Shiprocket website, my item reached the last hub near my delivery address in the afternoon of a certain day. It stayed there the remaining day, then all of next day, and was delivered to me the day after that. That's inefficient as it wasted a whole day... plus more. Perhaps, Stompbox.in management needs to speak to Shiprocket management about their delivery delays. Note that it was still delivered on the date I was told it would be delivered, however, there is still inefficiency in their process and it could have been delivered to me a day earlier.
3. Just a suggestion for the website - your "Ready to Ship" section is a bit deceptive because it lists out of stock items as well. If an item is not in stock, then it should automatically not show up under this section. It's an unnecessary step to go into this section, then click the "In stock" checkbox. It also shows items that will be delivered in 2-4 weeks. Small things, but can cause some confusion where people can assume stock is readily available. Fixing this on the website is not a critical issue, but a "nice-to-have" feature.
Hopefully, these suggestions are considered by the Stompbox.in management.
I'll still buy from here because overall I am quite happy with the service. Thank you
