Description

In extreme cases of Excessive Aural Dryness, nine out of ten experts turn to the Intensive Care Audio Fideleater. Coming directly from London's number-one treaters of such cases of audible monotony, the Fideleater is a truly unique lo-fi chorus/vibrato/delay effect pedal designed remedy the harshest conditions.

The Fideleater is a massively powerful modulator designed to warp anything and everything into new, pitch-bent, bit-crushed, cacophonic forms. At the heart of the Fideleater is a mighty modulation that quickly cuts into the realm of pitch-bent vibratos. An eight-way Wave Function rotary switch allows users to swap between different LFO waveforms including Random Slopes, Random Steps, Steps, Sine, Step Up/Slope Down, Square, Ramp Down, and Ramp Up. At each position, the Fideleater invents new modulated effects ranging from twisty vibrato slopes to random, discordant waves of noise that stumble around and bang against each other.

From here, a number of different parameters punch in to shape the many overall tones the Fideleater is capable of. LFO Wave and Depth controls harness the speed and intensity of the waveforms' movements, resulting in more regulated or out-of-control modulating with notable glitchy artifacts. Two-way Contract and Untie controls work to open or close the delay feedback path and extend or shorten the delay time, respectively. Through these switches, the Fideleater can operate more as a lo-fi modulated delay with longer feedback trails, rather than a lo-fi modulator with its feedbacks repeating more tightly and responsively. A Dry/Wet dial reels this whole experience in to play a supporting role or run rampant.

Like other Intensive Care Audio devices, the Fideleater features soft-touch relay-based true bypass switching and standard nine-volt DC power operation. The Fideleater also doubles up with a dedicated tap tempo footswitch for on-the-fly rate control.

Ask your doctor before starting Fideleater. Side effects may include dizziness and Moderate to Severe Modulation Syndrome.
