Description

One of effect pedals' collaborative dream teams strikes once again with the Keeley Electronics Nocturne Reverb! Returning for another dynamite pedal, famed guitarist Andy Timmons lands with another Keeley creation with the Nocturne reverb. The Nocturne is a high-fidelity, multi-mode reverb primed for expressive, cavernous, modulated echoes, traditional, splashy, amp-like reverbs, and so much more in between.

The Nocturne reverb hearkens to another unique Keeley creation. A couple years back, the Keeley Halo Dual Echo Delay dropped for unique, modulated delay trails meant to spur up worlds all their own on their own. Today's Nocturne translates quite a bit of the Halo's design theory with very powerful effects, expressive and modulated voices, and thoroughly modern playability.

This Keeley reverb comes fitted with three distinct onboard reverb effects. The first effect, "Nocturne," is directly influenced by the Halo's delay algorithm. Meant for long and immersive reverb trails, this mode is a modulation-forward effect for ethereal soundscapes and curious complexities. The Nocturne's two other effects are based around more traditional reverb origins: Spring and plate. Nocturne's Spring mode recreates the enduring tones of analog spring reverb tanks just like Mom used to make while Plate hits highs of classic stereo tube plate reverbs. Altogether, the Nocturne is a comprehensive multi-mode reverb effect to cover all your reverb bases.

Classic Keeley playability chimes in with a number of modern connectivity and control features. The Nocturne is, for one, fully stereo enabled with two inputs and two outputs. These connections can also be set to operate with "wet/dry" or "wet only" flows. After being routed to a variety of input and output sources, the Nocturne can be set up with a number of control schemes.

Two output connections allow for expression, MIDI, and remote control, if external footswitches or MIDI signals are your thing. The Nocturne can be run in live or preset modes with seventy-two onboard preset slots, features trails on/off selection, true or buffered bypass switching, and operates with standard nine (or eighteen) volt power supplies at 150mA, minimum.

As a masterful take on modulated effects, you can turn to Keeley and Andy for a real righteous reverb.
