Description

One of my favourites to boost the front end of my hi-gain amps for solo's to help them cut through better. It also gives them a pleasant mid & top end boost and tightens up lows but nothing too extreme or over the top. It sounds/feels just right with most amps but can sound a bit thin with some brighter amps. Works especially well with Marshall's
The SD-1 is a classic pedal that needs no introduction and has been an essential part of my pedalboard. This pedal works great both as a gain boost and a volume boost depending on where you put it on your signal chain. It's built like a tank. It also came with a 9v battery, which is surprising because these Boss pedals aren't considered "boutique" by the masses. But anyway, it does the job very well for what it's designed to do. A shoutout to Rishi and Stompbox for their great service and customer centric approach! Cheers!
