The Volume, Gain, and Bite controls on El Hombre have a special reactive quality with each other, allowing you to capture a myriad of different tones through experimentation. Of particular interest is the Bite control, which functions both as a typical tone knob, but also works wonders on dialing your gain down for a smoother tone. El Hombre might be named for its ability to capture the tones of "La Grange" and "Jesus Just Left Chicago," but it’s by no means locked into that single sound!
